Additionally, elevator car interiors need to be bright and utilise materials that are recyclable, durable, easy-to-clean and safe.

The diverse range of products and processes that Rimex offers, gives consultants and architects a vast pallet of choices.

This ranges from the durable patterned finishes to the flat surface finishes with a choice of either hairline, satin, mirror and SuperMirror polishes, Granex^TM and Vortex^TM finishes on natural stainless steel. This can also be applied to coloured stainless steel.

The Elevator Sector is increasingly using a wider range when it comes to grades of stainless steel.

Rimex has adapted to this customer requirement and supplies most products in various stainless-steel grade options. These include 304/1.4301, 316/1.4401 and other 300 series austenitic stainless-steel grades; and ferritic grades from the 200 and 400 series stainless steels.

Varying light conditions can be used to give patterned stainless steel products a personality of their own.

From a gentle presence on a cloudy day through to a wonderful eye-catching spectacle on a fine sunny one, our specialised patterns and surface finishes provide some control as to how much light reflects from a building as part of its design.
